The majority of Chicago garbage pick up is done by private contractors, and it's very hard to convince landlords to convince contractors to set up recycling pick up, because the landlords end up footing the bill. Chicago can be very slow to change. We should be recycling. Unfortunately, the City of Chicago makes it very difficult and time consuming for its residents.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17265078168525259105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-110363668984379935.post-51714307648248675962009-07-30T12:30:01.655-05:002009-07-30T12:30:01.655-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17265078168525259105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-110363668984379935.post-30095662113094853432009-07-29T15:22:41.260-05:002009-07-29T15:22:41.260-05:00If you don't have the blue bins already, you w...If you don't have the blue bins already, you will soon!

http://www.ci.chi.il.us/city/webportal/portalContentItemAction.do?BV_SessionID=@@@@0053877189.1248898711@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccfadehlliififcefecelldffhdfhk.0&contentOID=536991235&contenTypeName=COC_EDITORIAL&topChannelName=Dept&blockName=Streets+and+Sanitation%2FBlue+Cart+Program%2FI+Want+To&context=dept&channelId=0&programId=0&entityName=Streets+and+Sanitation&deptMainCategoryOID=-536890017Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-110363668984379935.post-67740649313211072852009-07-29T14:24:19.513-05:002009-07-29T14:24:19.513-05:00It is significantly harder to recycle in Chicago, ...It is significantly harder to recycle in Chicago, sadly, but still, yes, we should be doing it anyway.Arniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08045153384446178042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-110363668984379935.post-1774684399390239182009-07-28T18:51:55.779-05:002009-07-28T18:51:55.779-05:00A. Ramen, milk, your inability to recycle aluminum or glass.

I'm having trouble with a few items: Is that an empty container for peanuts, spices or instant coffee?
